Created strategies to reduce budgetary constraints using strategic hiring of FTE, reducing excessive contractual agreements, and identifying collaborative opportunities with VA facilities within the Chicago market, resulting in a reduction of over 87 FTE and meeting the target of having net zero growth.
Implemented current SCIP-approved projects to maximize project submissions and address facility infrastructure and decrease challenges.
Worked with VISN 12 leadership to secure an additional $10 million in non-recurring maintenance construction to upgrade elevators that were failing.
