- Greeting the customer when they walk in in the door, and helping them determine what they need and directing them to the proper person or area of the store is a must.
- Boot Fitting - Anything from custom orthotics, liners, shells and all kinds of custom work (punches, expansions, extensions, canting etc). Making the customer feel comfortable and keeping them informed about the process makes a relaxing experience for them. I take pride in creating a relationship with the customer so they can feel comfortable asking me any question.
- Worked with and very familiar with just about any major brand on the market for ski boots and skis.
- Have my certifications with MasterFit University and Sidas Academy with the highest course offered in both disciplines
- In charge of training new and seasonal employees in all aspects of bootfitting and customer service.
- Outdoor soft goods - Proficient in The North Face, Patagonia, Hestra, and most name brand clothing.
- Not everyone comes in to purchase, some are repair. Taking time to talk to the customer, ask about prior injuries, pain, redness swelling overall irritation are important.
- While not dealing with custom ski boot fits I also advised on the extremely wide range of skis on the wall (Atomic, Elan, Volkl, Dynastar, Armada etc). Helping the customer determine what ski best suits their ability and what they're looking for. From different core builds the radius and dimensions. An educated customer is an easy one to sell to.
- Unpacking and inventory is part of any job and am perfectly capable. Proficient on a computer and able to learn point of sale systems quickly.
- Been working on and off in back of house with inventory management, shipping and receiving and all aspects of our inventory system(oracle netsuite)
