I was responsible for making sure every towel was cleaned and folded by 6:00am the next morning. The bathrooms/changing rooms/ showering rooms were not letf a mess with towels and other stuff. I had to stock all the bathrooms with soap and the showers with with shampoo/soap. I also had to make sure that the shower stalls were not left a mess with various garbage left in them like empty soap contains and toothpaste tubes and old tooth brushes and just various garbage like paper from bar soap packages. I had to make sure that all the toilet stalls were filled up with as much toilet paper as possible by 5:00am to 6:00am because the gym gets really busy in the morning and they want the other morning employees spending as much time as possible giving good customer service. I also had to try to check every one in that came to the gym to workout. I also had to stock all the soap to the laundry room. Bring all the towels from the back storage area to the laundry area. These soap containers and bails of new towels were very heavy and this job was somewhat physical. I also had to clean up the whole gym by about 5:00am . I put weights away and organized the gym sometimes 2-3 hours straight while I greeted and checked members in at the front desk I also had to make sure people remained safe at the gym and assured that there was a safe environment for people to workout in. The way of doing this was not to let people in the gym If they were not members to the gym and called the police if this situation happened. I was also trained on a special system that you plug people into in case they are having a heart attack and stopped breathing. We are suppose hook them up to it while the ambulance is on its way to the gym.
