Primary responsibility to maintain stellar reputation of the Historic Shakespeare Ranch, largest private property on Lake Tahoe.

Primary function of the ranch is to raise money originally for the building and continues maintenance of Cleveland Clinic's Neurological research facility in Las Vegas.

Ranch events include rodeo's, celebrity chef dinners and political events. 50 to 600 guests per event. Manage year around staff of 5.

On ranch consulting and management training winters 2019 to 2023.

• After 30 room lodge being closed for 5 years the main objection was to reopen lodge and operate to its historic reputation.
• Update to all current federal and state regulations for lodge, property and guiding service.
• Hire appropriate staffing in all departments
• Set-up new Social marketing (web pages, trade shows, misc other social apps)
• Market, host and oversee conferences and logistics especially as there are no roads to King Salmon Alaska. Conference groups included such as Alaska Seafood Marketing Association, Alaska Airlines and State of Alaska School Superintendents conference.
• Celebrity guests include The Chuck Yeager family, The Sammy Hagar family, Adam Corolla Family and our lodge Chef Joseph Keller of the Napa Keller Family.
• Lodge sold November 2023.

• What can you say when someone opens and operates their own restaurant. I bought myself a 80 hour a week job.
• The operation of building and operating your own restaurant is life changing experience. The take away is that after operating your own restaurant facility (Italian entrees, eclectic piazzas) always hire fully experienced staff, know the menu, understand inventories, labor, food costs and waste. The margins are very thin at best.
