While working in KC Live! I became multi-venue and worked other venues when needed such as Midland Theater and The Gallery Event Space, but primarily at No Other Pub. At NOP, I became even more experienced in high-volume bartending working sold-out/packed events such as the AFC Championship, Super Bowl, NFL Draft, Big 12 Basketball Tournament, and World Cup watch parties as well as the fans that visit Power and Light for concerts at T-Mobile Center and KC Live! Stage. My experience in event catering ranges from intimate happy hours to restaurant buy-outs for hundreds of people. I also assisted in creating our new cocktail menu, and the side-work, opening, and closing duties list. Finnegan's Wake gave me the support and push I needed to become a team leader behind the bar. I was trusted with keys to the building, counted our safe, and handled tip-out for the entire staff every shift. As assistant manager, I was one of the main communicators between our staff, our GM, and bar owners. I consistently had the highest sales while performing bathroom checks, ID double-checks, resolving altercations, keg changes, and communicating with staff throughout the night.
