I am a fourth year business student at the University of California, Riverside. I recently graduated on June 22, 2023. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. My main focus and concentration is Marketing. Just like any other recent graduated student, I am eagerly looking for a job. But I will be completely honest, I have no professional experience in the marketing field. This is due to the circumstances I was living with, while I was at UC Riverside. But I believe that even though I do not have the best experience compared to the other individuals in this field, I know that I have the skills necessary in marketing such as creativity, persistency, commitment, communication, teamwork, and leadership. I am eager to grow as a person and gain more knowledge through the experience I will hopefully gain in my future. Volunteer and Leadership Experience
Volunteer at Shoestring City Ranch:
- I was a volunteer who rescued abandoned, abused, starved, and mistreated horses. These who were in desperate need of love and proper treatment.
- As a leader at this ranch, I was a role model where I taught new/incoming volunteers starting from ages 4 years old all the way to 50 years of age, the basics of how to properly care for a traumatized horse.
- TASKS: Feed, Groom, and Lounge the Horses. In addition, I took care of promoting the ranch as an effort to reach new members in the community, who might be interested in becoming new volunteers. This was essential because the ranch is non-profit and completely depends on its volunteers.
- FUN FACT: When I promoted this ranch at my high school's volunteer fair, a student showed my flyer to their wealthy uncle who donated thousands of dollars to the ranch, as well as hosted a marathon where all of the money raised was donated to the ranch as well. Causing the ranch to become entirely remodeled, as well as having enough money for the horses' food and vet visits.
