Warren Wilson College undergraduate with a strong interest in art, biology, and the intersections between these areas. Extensive 2D art training both in and outside of formal education. Lifelong interest and passion for learning about insects and natural science.
As an Entomology Assistant, I work to assist the WWC community with research and data collection on ongoing insect-related projects and participate in developing new projects. Examples of work include assisting in the collection and identification of parasitic wasps, maintaining the campus bee hotel, assisting with arthropod research and curation, and maintenance of the on-campus arthropod collection. I also work to communicate helpful information about insects through zines, art, videos, and presentations.
Participate in a collective of teen artists that design and implement public art that addresses a need in the community.
