I have always wanted to be a teacher, so I decided to become a camp counselor as well as a coach to better my skills for when I become a teacher. Through both, I have acquired great skills such as patience, leadership, and communication that have made me confident in my abilities to teach in the future. I started substitute teaching to broaden my horizons in teaching and to get a better understanding of different grade levels and classroom management. Both have taught me what it means to be a positive role model in a classroom and how to create an everlasting impact on my students.
