Summary

I am writing to express my interest in the “customer care specialist” position. All of my previous work history and schooling has aligned with the experience needed to succeed in this role.

My previous employment has equipped me with several years’ worth of customer service experience in both call center and remote settings. I am currently a remote “patient support center representative” for Optum. My main job duties include relaying information for patients regarding referrals, test results, appointments etc. I also take medication refill requests and submit them to our care team and doctors. There are a number of other miscellaneous tasks I take care of as well such as giving directions, patient inquiries, etc. My duties as a customer service representative for Playstation included taking a large volume of incoming calls regarding refunds, technical support, account updates, and troubleshooting. My calls were to be kept clear and concise while providing help in a friendly and understandable manner. I also worked for a number of years as a pet caretaker, dog walker, and dog sitter for Wag where I acquired extensive knowledge on dog breeds and behavior and how to adhere to owner training and care instructions.

I have a high school degree in general studies from Nevada Learning Academy and have almost completed my associate of art’s degree with only one course to go from the College of Southern Nevada. My arts education, which included communication and English classes, taught me how to communicate as efficiently and effectively as possible. I also have a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification which furthered my communication skills with both children and adults who are not native English speakers.

When I am not at work my life revolves around my beloved pets. I am a proud owner of three rescue cats and a dog who are my world. I would love the opportunity to work for something I am truly passionate about. I feel that I share the same values as Koala. There’s nothing more valuable than knowing your pets are safe, healthy, and in good hands.
