Melanie "Mel" Lane

Summary

My name is Melanie Lane, also known by some as "Mel", and I have become passionate about helping the unhoused and youth community population for seven years. Through lived experience in unhoused camps, shelters, working with case managers, and building relationships within our community, I was able to educate myself on the needs of our shelters and our unhoused population, particularly youth and LGBTQA. I have therefore dedicated myself to advocating for our community whether it be at local council meetings or in shelters.
