Leveraging exceptional multitasking abilities and compassionate patient-focused care, I consistently enhance patient experiences and support healthcare providers. Eager to bring my expertise and a strong foundation in medical terminology and patient education to a dynamic new role.
Worked front desk checking patients in and out. Schedule patient for appointments, referrals, assisted provider with rooming patients, taking vital signs and patient information, report to physician any problems patient may be presented with. Follow physician orders to patient and answered any questions patient may have. Scheduled sleep studies, gave physician reports of patient sleep study reports. Answered phone calls, addressed patient
problems, ordered patient supplies and machines, made sure to answer any questions and make patient appointment as comfortable as possible letting patient know by my actions. that they are our first priority and make sure. they are comfortable with any diagnosis or discussions they had with providers. Patient services are always my #1 priority and to help the provider as much as possible to make their busy lives easier. Made sure patient had information needed and made sure patient felt comfortable and was always welcomed to call me if patient had more questions. I enjoy working in healthcare. I always want every patient to leave the office knowing I truly care about their health and well being so visiting the office is an enjoyable experience.. looking to advance and learn as much as possible so I can be a valuable asset to the physician I am employed by to make their busy lives physician happy as well as all patients and co workers. I’m not afraid to jump in were needed and worried to help any one that needs my assistance. Being a good medical assistant is about patient care, observing the office rules and being the best co worker I can be. And always doing anything the physician asks of me. As I know and respect that they are the physicians and they deserve the respect for it. If given the chance I promise I will show what a benefit I can be to your office and someone who isn’t scared to always learn new skills.
Worked independently in medical dept preparing patients medication for following day, pass medications to patients each day, observed and did checks on any patients that were ill or had medical issues. Did vitals and access patients who had sick call and gave reports to on call physician, documentation and followed those orders and explained to patient exactly what was going to be done. Got patient history, documented in patient medical chart. Responded to patient’s emergency for entire jail independently. Had to work in a fast and accurate speed to access each patient and prioritize by emergency. Phlebotomy, observation of diabetic with checking blood sugar every night. Check patients who just got intake to observe any medical problems they may have and order medication they may need. Schedule testing and did referrals to any outside physician visits. Enjoyed working and always treating patients as a patient and not an inmate and have always my very best understanding any circumstances.
Phlebotomy, vitals, charting, anatomy, physiology, administration, billing, coding, scheduling, injections, cpr first aid training, let me certification expire when I decided to help my daughter graduate high school her senior year due to her being pregnant. My children and grandkids are older so I am really ready to work. I loved ascension but I see a lot of specialist so when I seen the opening for a medical assistant for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I think it’s the perfect job for me. I am a fast learner, take direction well, and always have room to improve.
Went to medical assistant school in Virginia years ago. Moved back to Evansville and got job at Welborn derm. Was hired as phone nurse but ended up per physician request I became his procedure assistant. I assisted physician in every surgery. I also transcribed with physician in every room as patient seen physician. I then was offered a job a the sheriff dept were I learned a lot being by myself. Worked there until my family needed me then I had a big gap in work history. But in 2023 everyone is school aged and since Covid I have to see specialist so working what was described in in indeed working Mondays and Wednesday in Evansville and Wednesday in Owensboro sounds like an employment I could really thrive at and not let my physician or co workers down. And any doctors appointments I could go to on my day off. Please contact me at (812) 457-6599. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you so much!

I have been to school twice due to it being so long since I had used my certificates so I currently went back to school to receive it again.
I’m an eager Medical Assistant who believes there are always so many things to lean in healthcare. I would love the opportunity to prove that you won’t regret it if you take a chance on me. I understand that respect is what is deserved of any and all physicians and I would give nothing less then my very best and always come to work with a smile in hopes I can make a co worker smile. Thank you for your time.
