Mercy Winchel

Thank you for considering me for the internship! I am particularly interested in this opportunity because I like the idea of marketing and communication and would enjoy using the skills I've learned in Video Production at Olathe West to help impact my community. I have behind the scenes, as well as on-camera experience with OWTV. Recently, I was given the opportunity to create my own regularly scheduled segment for OWTV with a classmate. I also participated in the creation and production of the Hyvee Shopping Spree commercial! Being part of my school's sports teams has helped me learn good ways to work well as a team and expand my way of socializing. My two years with Olathe West's Video Production class has allowed me to expand my creativity. And being involved with both at the same time has helped me realize the value of balancing academics and extracurriculars. I'm looking forward to being a intern for the Olathe Communication and Marketing Division, and once again, thank you for your consideration!
