I am considered a home mycologist practicing cultivation of mycelium beginning from spore stage following through to mushroom propagation. I have knowledge and practicum of separating and choosing mycelium strains, Spore to agar, Liquid Culture and sterile work. I currently own a small mushroom cultivation urban farm that produces high quality gourmet mushrooms. Mycology is a late in life passion that I discovered recently in late 2023 and have been consumed by the process, skill level, and the renewable food source. Mycology has taught me patience, sterile techniques, HVAC, and the process and the elimination of contaminate transfers. I have a high skill level in the basic practicum of home mycology, in which I carry over to my professional life.
