  • During my tenure Local 2617 became the second largest federal union in New England. I am responsible for assuring sound functioning of the union's day-to-day activities, chairing executive board meetings and directing executive officer's activities. Other responsibilities include executing fiduciary responsibilities by ensuring strong fiscal controls are always maintained as well as developing and promoting constructive labor relations with TSA management and strong professional relationships with airport stakeholders.

Other duties include recording loans, in-kind contributions and accrued expenses; providing financial updates to the committee as needed, gathering required contributor information and preparing and filing required disclosure reports (filing electronically, as required). Maintains the audit files for the committee, consisting of the back up records required for all of the above transactions.

Duties also include setting the curricula for all public and private vocational institutions and schools who provide professional industry training.
