As a seasoned customer service support and office professional, I bring a diverse background encompassing administrative roles, medical assisting, leasing, childcare, and public service. My expertise extends to peer specialist functions and motivational interviewing, ensuring a holistic compassionate approach to client interactions. I pride myself on being both a self-starter and a collaborative team player able to multitask in different roles as needed, equipped with a solid grasp of Microsoft Office and bookkeeping software. My proficiency in problem-solving is matched by my excellent decision-making skills, all of which are geared towards providing outstanding service and delivering high-quality work.
My time at Exodus CCS has allotted me to wear many hats in various roles. I was hired to be the administrative assistant and I supported our drug screen lab when it would become busy, leading to me becoming certified as a technician in drug screening and breath alcohol testing. As clients would call to schedule their first mental health or substance use counseling appointment, I was their first point of contact making them feel at ease and eager to begin their new journey, that some would come in and ask for me thinking I was the counselor, that prompted a conversation with my Supervisor, if I was interested in returning back to school to become a counselor. But even better I became a Peer Supporter and CDCA. I support others through their journey of mental health and or substance use. I enjoy being a team player and assisting wherever I can, I do have my days where I have to work alone and I put just as much effort in my individual work as I do with a team.
