• Provide direct care services under the supervision of an Rn
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
• Provide physical care, support and supervision
• Communicate observations of patient behavior to interdisciplinary team for continuity of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to create individual behavior treatment plans
• Implement treatment plan developed by interdisciplinary team
• Organize and implement age and developmentally appropriate activities
• Role model positive behavior and help patients build life skills
• Supervise and assist with hygiene and basic housekeeping
• Respond calmly and decisively to emergency situations
• Implement a wide range of de-escalation techniques and determine when physical intervention is appropriate.
