I volunteered at a local children's ministry for four years while pursuing my undergraduate degree. The ministry focused on serving at risk youth throughout the community by proving an after school program two days per week. By my second year serving, I was put in charge of leading and organizing small groups, planning lessons and activities, and cooking meals for the students.
