Work History

Director of Multi Unit Sales

Performance Foodservice
Dallas, TX
12.1991 - 04.2025
  • Responsible for ensuring Service Excellence for all National and Regional customer concepts.
  • Worked closely with Warehouse, Transportation Purchasing, and Finance to ensure we met all contractual obligations for multi unit accounts, including on time deliveries, inventory levels, customer sales promotions and coordinating inventory required for those promotions, and credit terms.
  • Led and supported the Multi Unit Account Reps and Customer Service to ensure the customer needs were addressed and also to help hold the customers accountable for A/R balances and to make sure they used the inventory they requested PFG to bring in for them.
  • Worked with the Service Excellence team weekly to address out of date inventory and gain customer assistance for product accruing in the aged inventory buckets.
  • For most of my management tenure at PFG, I also was the main administrator for the Area Manager Commission Program. Although commissions were moved to Human Resources in my final year at PFG, I continued to coach and assist Sara Williams as she became more comfortable with administering this very important part of the business.

Sales Manager

Frito Lay
Dallas, TX
07.1984 - 12.1991
  • I was hired as a Route Salesperson. The position was direct store deliveries to supermarkets in the North Dallas area. I held this role for 4 years.
  • I was promoted to Training Manager at the Dallas corporate office. My responsibilities were to conduct a classroom style sales training class each week for all new route sales people hired in the Southwest United States.
  • I was then promoted to District Sales Manager in Fort Worth Texas. My duties included managing a team of route salespeople that were making direct store deliveries to supermarkets in the Fort Worth area. Salesreps and myself were responsible for keeping the stores in stock on all items, managing slow moving and "stale" items, and selling promotional displays for weekly sales promotions.
