Work History

Maintenance & Refrigeration Manager

Moms Meals
Oklahoma City
09.2024 - Current
  • Achieved highest line uptime and lowest M&R cost across the enterprise over the last rolling 12 months.
  • Cut equipment M&R over 24% in 2025, through several different approaches. Planning and managing downtime, dramatically decreasing utilization and necessity of outside resources, as well as by increasing MTBF through audited PM tasks.
  • Implemented two cost savings initiatives that have saved 346,200 annually in LN2 spend, and $302,200 annually, via wastewater treatment pathology.
  • Developed Maintenance Planner's skills in MTTR, MTBF, useful life, predictive vs. preventative maintenance, and Gantt charts, resulting in a budget reduction of one month within six.
  • Completed installation of "Auto Case Pack Project" after FA testing identified necessary vendor changes, achieving deployment within 60% of allotted plant downtime for effective pre-launch testing.
  • Manage 1 Maintenance and Refrigeration Supervisor, 1 Maintenance Planner, 4 Maintenance Supervisors, 19 technicians, 2 wastewater technicians, and 5 Refrigeration Technicians.

Maintenance & Refrigeration Manager

OK Foods
Oklahoma City
08.2022 - 09.2024
  • Manage 1 Maintenance and Refrigeration Superintendent, 1 Maintenance Planner, 3 Maintenance Supervisors, 12 technicians, 2 wastewater technicians, and 4 Refrigeration Technicians.
  • Completed unfinished 2020 Maintenance CapEx projects, such as a new 500hp Boiler and DA install, MCC upgrade with 2 new switch-gears, and demo and removal of an ammonia pump out compressor and oil generator. These projects were incomplete and undriven due to management changes within. All projects completed within 60 days of onboarding.
  • After reviewing the existing state of the PM tasks, completion rates, and lack of PM auditing, I re-wrote all of the PM's first according to OE recommendations, secondly by speaking with the most tenured mechanics covering them, and lastly by availability at the machine. Mechanical downtime at start up was reduced over 83%.
  • Implemented a cost savings initiative concerning fryer belting. Due to breakage an SOP had been implemented to force the change of fryer belting every two weeks, at a cost of $15k each occurrence. I sought and sourced belting with a proven run life of one year without breakage. As it was relatively new in the industry, I garnered a deal with the manufacturer to install across all of my fryers free of charge. The project was a success with a six week ROI, and subsequently a $680,000 cost savings first 12 months.

Maintenance & Refrigeration Manager

  • Operated on a $40 million repairs budget, a $6.4million CapEx budget. Reduced Maintenance Labor costs by $240,000 (14%) in 2020, with a further reduction of 5% more in 2021.
  • Implemented Inventory Control techniques.
  • Read and revised PM scope, schedule, and frequency, becoming predictive and preventative versus reactive. Used the Superintendent and Supervisors to assist me with investigating predictive tests and tools. Upon purchase and implementation, the entire team was on board and excited to see and use procedures such as weekly amp draw on motors, heat and vibration analysis, and thermal imaging to prevent and predict failure, therefore preventing downtime.
