I like to paint and refinish furniture for customers of my small side business. I love to create and bring my ideas to life. I also make porch sign of all kinds. i really love the creative work i do with the signs. It is all therapeutic and relaxing.

Get to know me

         My name is Minela and I am from Europe specifically from Bosnia. I moved to the United States in 1997 as an immigrant when I was 13 years old. I am bilingual and I am fluent in both English and Serbo-Croatian. My reason for moving to the United States was to escape the genocide war in Bosnia where I lived with my family in the 90s. 


          I love living in the United States and all the opportunities I had along the way.  I love that the Unites States is a melting pot because I really love diversity and all the different cultures we have here. I enjoy working with others and helping others achieve their goals and reach the full potential. I believe in team work, helping others and showcasing others. I have met some amazing people along the way sine I have moved to United States that have inspired me in many ways. 


           I completes almost all my education here in the Unites States. I attended Northwood middle school. I graduated from South side high school in 2003 with a Core40 diploma. I further attended IPFW and then Ivy Tech. I am a state board certified Phlebotomist. I have also worked on my externship at the VA hospital with high marks.
