Provide care to neonates, children and young adults in the perioperative setting. • Extubate patients in phase 1 PACU, manage airway with positioning, suctioning and/or oral/nasal airways as needed. Manage post operative pain and emergence delirium.
• Member of inpatient & outpatient sedation program, utilizing Precedex, Fentanyl, and/or Versed to sedate patients for PICC insertions, BAER's and echocardiograms. Intra-procedure monitoring and discharge to home or back to unit with education to patient and families.
• Applied nursing expertise to meet needs of high acuity patients in challenging fast paced environment that sees on average 60-100 patients a day.

Travel assignments in various inpatient/outpatient pediatric hospitals in Bakersfield CA, Santa Clara CA and Seattle WA. Able to complete remote learning and competencies prior to arrival and learn the policies and procedures of each facility quickly and with confidence.
