Morgan Kovar

I am currently a student at the University of Minnesota with a major in Strategic Communications and a Digital Media Studies minor. I have years of professional experience and I am eager to join the workforce as I am in my last semester as a student. I know I can make a positive impact in any work and would love the opportunity to show this!

• Alpha Phi Sorority, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 09/2022, Present, Raise money for women’s heart health. Host a gala to raise money. Heartbeat Week with a bunch of activities. Philanthropy events. Sisterhood Events and volunteering at other Greek life events!
• Women In Business, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 09/2023, Fall 2024, Currently a member of Women in Business at the University of Minnesota. I am also a mentor within this club for young women in the same major as me.
• Volleyball, East Grand Forks, Minnesota, 08/2018, 08/2021, Varsity captain my senior year. Maintained great leadership and sportsmanship. Learned how to be a leader and set a good example. Created a team experience. Worked with multiple people at one time to be successful.
• School Store, East Grand Forks, Minnesota, 08/2021, 05/2022, I was a part of the class that created the very first school store in my high school, this included doing jobs such as social media, inventory, design, communication, as well as all of the small things that are necessary to make a store successful.
