Accomplishments

  • Most Improved Player. I got awarded Most Improved Player for my high school lacrosse team by the coaches. My skills greatly improved over the years even for it basically being my first year.
  • YMSL Platinum Service Award. Grade 10, 11. The minimum requirement for YMSL is 25 hours of service with you and your mother. The platinum award is given to whoever gets 50+ hours of service.

Volunteering Work

  • Young Mens Service League. Grade 10, 11, 12. 4 Hrs/Week. Total Hours: 150. YMSL's mission statement: To assist, serve, and support those who are in need in our community, develop leadership skills among our members, and promote mother-son relationships. We work all over the bay area. There are different philanthropies that we can do. For example, every Saturday for 3 hours we go to half moon bay, the next city over, and make breakfast for the elderly and homeless. Next, we help peninsula food runners that drive food from1 location to the other for the help of others and it takes about 1 hour.
  • Silicon Valley Bike Exchange. Grade 10, 11, 12. We volunteer here with YMSL. SVBE's goal is to fix and donate bikes to organizations around the Bay Area for the less fortunate. We as volunteers learn the skills to fix and repair bikes by the workers and we get to do something good for the community.
  • No Strings Attached. Grade 10, 11, 12. 3 Hrs/Week Cooking and preparing breakfast for the less fortunate. We also get great guidance and skills from the volunteer leaders that have been doing it for 15+ years
