  • Duties are to assist with inquiries made by phone and in person regarding department information referencing police functions (bench warrants), clerk of courts (domestic violence), stay away orders, the input of missing persons, and stolen or lost guns
  • And most importantly, handling the state machine for instate or out-of-state inquiries referencing inmates
  • Other duties consist of quality controlling records for compliance with the records retention policy, purges, and preparing documents for destruction as required
  • Minor duties consist of processing mail, filing, researching police records, and police-related data such as supplement reports
  • To be in this area, you must be certified yearly by FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement)
