  • Disassembles weapons, assemblies, subassemblies and other components; examines for defects, mechanical misalignment and malfunctions; modifies small weapons by replacing obsolete parts and/or makes operational checks of repaired weapons to assure safety and accuracy of operations
  • Independently determines repairs needed, test equipment to use, and whether repairs can be completed at the unit location, at the maintenance activity, or must be evacuated to the next higher level
  • Performs Biannual gauging, unit weapon reset, overhaul, proper internal maintenance, and repair on a variety of small arms by utilizing a variety of specialized tools and Test Measurement Devices and Equipment (TMDE)
  • Diagnoses and identifies mechanical deficiencies and/or malfunctions in weapons including automatic pistols, revolvers, shotguns, automatic rifles, grenade launchers, machine guns, and rocket launchers, and other small arms and optical accessories to include hydraulic and electrical repair
  • Ensures that all TMDE items are on a current cycle, turned in per the TMDE delinquency list and identified for replacement if noted from TMDE inspection
  • Performing any and all mechanical repair task in accordance with Safety and Environmental regulatory guidance from all applicable levels, which is local, State, and Federal
  • Complete all additional duties as assigned such as monthly Sensitive Item Inventory of weapons, Semi-Annual Key control Inventory, monthly IDS checks and ensures all daily logs for Physical Security are properly filled
  • Always following strict physical/nonphysical security accountability procedures IAW 190-11, 190-13, and 710-2

Armament Maintenace Supervisor

  • Serves as the Armament Maintenance Supervisor in the 2nd Platoon, 3650th Maintenance Company.
  • Responsible for the direct and general support maintenance of 1300 weapons which include the M240 series, M320, MK 19, M9, M249, M500, M4, M16; Responsible for the disposition, evacuation and movement of all equipment requiring higher maintenance.
  • Responsible for the health, welfare, and training of 11 Soldiers; Maintained accountability of over $500,000 worth of repair parts and $5,000,000 worth of Army equipment.
  • Armament Maintenance Supervisor, I work together with my Team Leaders in performing the training and completion of mission essential tasks among my squad.
  • In that scope ensuring all soldiers are correctly and safely completing weapons maintenance and solider tasks and drills in a timely manner.
  • Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE.) Using technical manuals to disassemble/reassemble equipment including infrared and laser sighting equipment. Performing correct maintenance procedures by troubleshooting in order to locate, order, and install required parts

  • I was primarily responsible for performing various manual labor tasks throughout the rig site, including rig up and rig down activities, general equipment repairs and maintenance on rig components and machinery. I was held accountable for performing these duties in a safe and efficient manner under the supervision of my Driller or his/her Assistant Driller.
  • Being responsible for rig floor operating activities for 12-16 hours per day, for consecutive days including the operating of the tongs, slips and ST-80 to connect and disconnect drilling pipe, tubular and drilling bits and other tools.
  • I also assisted the Derrick Hand with mud-mixing duties working within the mud pit, mud pump and chemical hopper. I routinely performed general repairs and maintenance on major and minor rig components
  • Ensuring the safety and quality of the work performed on the Rig and its equipment.
  • I utilized a strong mechanical inclination to any type of equipment, or basic engine maintenance repair. I worked with hydraulic systems and conducted maintenance and repair on equipment such as the ST80
  • Ensured gear and equipment was lubricated and PMCS was completed as scheduled for daily, weekly, and monthly checks, well adapted in working in high stress environments, maintaining physical composure, and a positive mental state of mind.
