Summer seasonal job at a beautiful restaurant in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Very high levels of service in a fast paced, high energy environment. In charge of speaking with guests, taking orders, anticipating needs, serving food and drinks with poise and grace. Cultivating warm relations with every customer and insuring the highest level of service and attitude. Learning wonderful New American menu with Pan Asian influences as well as an extensive list of wines and craft cocktails.

Learning an exquisite Asian Fusion menu along with many local spirits and expensive wine. Helped in the service of an Omakase sushi dinner headed up by a Michelin Star chef one or two nights a week. Responsible for stocking dry shelves, napkin folds, and furnature arrangements. Support staff for a small tavern in Massachusetts. Working as a Barback, Food Runner, Busser, Host, and Server Assistant all in one shift, all at the same time. Very fast paced restaurant with a comfort food menu and small staff. Handling around 20 tables for a 6-10 hour shift, running food and drinks, clearing and resetting, and handling the bar. Stocking dry shelves, wine, spirits, beer, changing kegs, pouring dressing, handling To-Go orders, operating MASS lottery machine, taking and setting reservations, and maintaining personal bank for takeout orders.
