  • Working abroad various class submarines and surface ships such as the seawolf class SSN-21,22,23. The Ohio class SSGN-726,727. The Nimitz class CVN 68, 71 and lastly the LA class SSN 756 removing, installing interferences such as lockers, ventilation, bunks and non-structured bulkheads with battery operated drills and wrenches, rivet guns and deburring sheers as interferences for other trades following drawings pertaining to the scope of the work required.
  • Meeting inspection criteria of code 260 noise and vibration to ensure the ventilation, fan system will not cause a sound short.
  • Ensuring no foreign material is encased in the fan systems upon removal, reinstallation of ventilation, fan systems.
  • Problem solving writing deficiency forms and logs to form a corrective action per engineering.
  • Following supervisor instruction to complete tasks on time.
  • Generating material delivery tags, material tracking tags to insure no loss of material
  • Working side by side with lead mechanics as a team assisting in the task at hand.

  • Generating AWRs, TSRs, for assist trades and temp services in order to meet the completion of work per the Task Group Instruction. Adhere to safety regulations.
  • Working with S/26 following industrial process (1688) and (1689) (WPC FAQ) preforming fit-up to meet dimension tolerances, to prevent material shrinkage, On various components.
