I was responsible for approximately 40+ very well know and top of their field clients for their speaking engagements (including Dr. Fareed Zakaria). Some of the clients I handled besides Fareed at Leigh Bureau include David Grann, R. David Edelman, David Ignatius, David Sanger, Rana Foroohar, Mitch Albom, Kevin Roose and Michael Sandel. I handled everything from start to finish, including scheduling travel, advance and on-site media interviews, pre-event meetings, run of show (creating very detailed itineraries for each event from the moment our speaker left their home to their return back home), acted as the go between with our speakers and sponsors (sponsors are those hosting the speaking event) for seamless events. On event days, I monitored travel and any other travel arrangements (such as car services, trains, flights, hotels, etc.) to be sure everything was on time and confirmed (including payment for these arrangements as per contract terms). Should there be any problems day of, I would quickly pivot to handle any such emergency and have alternative arrangements made so that our events went off without a hitch and that our speakers were able to fulfill their contractual obligations without any stress, delays, etc. My goal was to make every event as pleasant and smooth as possible while keeping an upbeat attitude and being attentive to our speakers and sponsors. Following each event, I would sort out the expenses and accurately communicate the billing to the sponsor and reimbursement to our speakers with our accounting department in a timely fashion so we could process each individual accounting report. Dr. Zakaria has been a client that I have worked with for his speaking engagements since 2001 at our previous speaker agency, Royce Carlton. I handled approximately 300 -400 individual events each year. I established strong rapport with speakers and sponsors which developed close and trusted relationships..

I handled the speaking events from start to finish for Dr. Fareed Zakaria, Thomas L. Friedman, Rana Foroohar, Daniel Goleman, Brian Greene, Joan Rivers, Glenn Close, Alan Alda and many others at Royce Carlton (a boutique speakers lecture agency where we exclusively represented the world's top journalists, business and thought leaders). Our agency was purchased in 2017 by ICM Partners and became ICM Speakers. I coordinated every detail after our agents went to contract for each individual event for my speakers (including US and international travel, media interviews, book signings and sales) and made sure everything was arranged, confirmed and finished following the events (including travel expenses and speaker reimbursement). I worked closed with each speaker and their offices and our sponsors (those hosting the events). I would basically be the speakers assistant for their speaking engagements. I communicated clearly and timely with each speaker and also our sponsor for white glove service to ensure each event went well for our speakers and the sponsors. I have a very good understanding of how busy each of our speaker's calendars and lives are with their many obligations. I have also traveled with speakers for their book and speaking tours (I traveled with Tom Friedman for his book "Hot, Flat and Crowded". I was onsite with Mr. Friedman for a 16-city event tour as his onsite contact for this very intense schedule). I worked closely with a team of 15 people in our organization and was on-call as needed after hours.
