  • During my time with Bermuda Tug & Salvage I was a jack-of-all-trades. I signed on with the purchase of an old ferry with the intention of retrofitting the ferry as a pirate ship to operate as a tourist destination. I was in charge of everything from concept to completion. Once the staff was hired and trained, we quickly added business models to that of a nightclub and charter boat. I was able to put my past event management experience to work as well as human resource, employee relations, training, book keeping, budgeting and day-to-day operation skillss. One year after the successful change, I was able to launch a complementary souvenir addition called The Jack Shack. In addition to the day-to-day operations I was also responsible for the negotiation and design of the souvenirs sold and management of on site and off site events. We hosted on site events with a capacity of 200.
