Sorter duties include utilizing factory equipment to sort heavy packages and products efficiently, monitor and exclude defective items while maintaining a clean and organized work space. Assist in loading and unloading inventory, and adhering to the safety protocols. Sorters must have an excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills, as well as in-depth inventory knowledge to classify items accordingly.

The Menards Hardware Department duties include, assisting with inventory management, ensuring accurate counts and proper storage of products. Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment for customers through regular cleaning and monitoring of store conditions. Greet customers, helped locate merchandise, and suggested suitable options.

Cardinal Cold End Technician duties are handling machinery and robotics, follow strict safety procedures of lockout and tagout, reducing workplace accidents. Working at the factory requires forklift certificate, and following the schedule for the day including manually packing lites (glass handling); watch the automatic robots. In this job there are open opportunities to cross-train, I took in the skills to work as a Hot-End Technician. The Hot-End duties are to monitor the cameras inside the furnace and do hourly temperature checks with the Lithium-Ion laser Temp-Gun. For every temperature recorded is then recorded in the computer and written in the records book.
