Nolan Libby

Working back of house, I consistently worked under pressure, unusual circumstances, and in unexpected positions. From this, I developed and exercised a knack for problem solving, an ability to effectively communicate and coordinate, and a natural instinct for composure rather than to panic.

Working all throughout the store, I operated as cashier, dishwasher, and in the kitchen. From all these positions I developed an appreciation for customer service. I learned how to operate in a hectic work environment. I communicated with coworkers through language barriers. And I committed to long enduring tasks.

My starting job was working as a gardener at Broadway Gardens Greenhouses. I had to tend to the plants around the property and help customers find flowers they were looking for. During the winter months, I worked preparing and selling Christmas trees and wreathes to customers, having to communicate and work physical labor during the process.
