Recognizing a gap in financial education, I founded and was President of the Investors Club for three years.

• Grew members by 800% YoY, 40+ students.
• Developed/presented content weekly to educate students on investment and savings strategies.
• Partnered with Lake Travis DECA Club to deliver content for students competing in the Stock Portfolio competition.
• Club content used for LTHS Economics AP Course.

Throughout my highschool career, I’ve been dedicated to using this understanding to better my community. Serving as the Served as Vice President for two years and President for one year.

• Grew MUN by 200% YoY representing 60 students
• Funraised $12K from local businesses and surrounding cities to ensure all students had financial support to compete
• Created 15 Model UN Honors class debate guides
• Mentored two freshman resulting in Best Delegate awards for each student.
• Awarded five best delegate awards (1st) and one outstanding delegate award (2nd) for leadership, diplomacy, and negotiation during a crisis. Average conference size at regional and national conferences was 1000 students.

The Lake Travis ISD bond committee consists of 57 community members and educators convened to assess and provide recommendations on proposed bond initiatives related to the improvement or expansion of Lake Travis ISD facilities

• One of four students selected for the committee to represent student views
• Completed 250 hours of research and interviews on $704M of bond funding requests.
• Advised on $704M bond funding Researched and evaluated all bond project requests to advise on fund allocation for $704M bond.
• Presented Bond recommendations to the LTISD Board
• Led get-out-the-vote efforts, with presentations at 40 community events.
• $603M Bond passed. Participating on the design committee for one high school and two new elementary schools.
• Researched and presented the 2023 Bond to the Lake Travis ISD Board for $93M for pending election in November 2023.

Nominated by Lake Travis High School Counselor and Principal to represent 4000 students on district policies and operations.

• Delivered plans for bell schedules to reduce traffic, hallway overcrowding, and long lunch lines.
• Revised grading policies to ensure student ability to review homework and project grades prior to unit testing.
• Added stop signs to improve crosswalk safety.

Nominated to represent Lake Travis High School at the NSLC International Diplomacy Program hosted at Georgetown University and Columbia University. Learned about diplomacy through participation in the following:

• Played the role of a diplomat in mock UN Security Council meeting.
• Developed and progressed a country
• Created an NGO focused on ethnic relations and education in the middle east.
• Visited the US Institute of Peace, UNICEF and the United Nations to better understand the role of policy and diplomacy in the world.

One of four boys nominated from 850 Lake Travis High School applicants to represent Lake Travis High School at Texas Boy's State, a hands-on program to learn the operations of local, city, and state government located at the University of Texas at Austin and the Texas State Capitol.

• Worked with 1000 boys from the state of Texas to create a political party platform and pass legislation.

Nominated to represent Lake Travis High School at the NSLC Law and Advocacy program hosted at Yale University.

• Participated in leadership and legal seminars
• Earned position of prosecutor in the NSLC mock trial and won the murder trial.
• Applied the courtroom techniques shared by legal experts, including Yale University professors.
• Received A in American (AU), Law 101 course as part of the NSLC program.
