I believe in effort, attitude, mindset, and perseverance. In my professional life, I first served in the capacity as a teacher, and then built my own business in the health industry. I am passionate about family, faith, health, and sports.
I am currently a personal trainer for my own training business. I work with youth and adults on nutrition, strength training, mindset, and other physiological aspects that accompany living a healthy lifestyle.
Previous to this line of work, I was a public education teacher.
I taught 4th grade ELA and Writing. I chose to leave public education and come home to serve my young family better, at the time when Covid was beginning to become an issue.
I taught Kindergarten for two years. I chose to leave Martinsville, because my husband received a job offer in another school, and it was in the best interest of my family for us all to make the move with him.
I taught Pre-K 4 for two years. I left Garrison, because my husband received an administration offer in another school and we chose to go as a family.
I worked as a Pre-K teacher for one year in Diboll, Texas. This served as a helpful job, in a time when I was having my own children.
This was my first teaching job. I worked two assignments, each being half a year. First teaching assignment was to serve as a temporary Bilingual Pre-K Teacher. The second teaching assignment was as a first grade teacher. I moved into the first grade teaching position in January of that school year. My class was severely under the standards in mathematics and reading. I was able, in half of a school year, to bring them to meeting or exceeding the standards for that grade level.
I served as the Assistance Manager for a clothing store named, Buckle. I was in charge of managing personnel, local marketing, overseeing sales and meeting company store sales quotas. I also oversaw the training of personnel.
