As a hostess at Yard House, one of the most important aspects of my job was presenting a lasting impression of the establishment's outstanding customer service. My duties consisted of greeting patrons, enter their names into a computer system, carefully monitor the waiting list, and escort them to their tables. In addition, I was in charge of receiving to-go orders over the phone, arranging them, and charging the customer once they arrived. This restaurant sees a high volume of customers per day; hence I was challenged to keep up with a very fast-paced and highly productive environment.
