We had bands almost every day and would draw in large crowds, so it was a very fast paced environment. Lots of wedding parties, midget wrestling, goat yoga, street vending, and even a beer garden on the fairgrounds. I did opening and closing duties as well, which included bar prep, table set up, garnish preps, money counting, restroom cleaning, mopping and vacuuming, cleaning of the taps, lots of dishwashing. I have also been Ramp certified.
I came to work for this company after transferring from CA. I quickly felt at home in the sporting goods dept. I learned very quickly about the guns and ammo. I learned about proper gun sales, background checks and also about the guns.
I also learned how to work in the Auto Care center. I would write up customer invoices and tire sales.
I was also trained in the electronics and photo dept. I quickly learned how to process photos, and did very well with electronics sales.
I really enjoy working with the public and get along great with my coworkers.

I started my Walmart career as I walked into a completely empty building. I was part of the setup team. After a few weeks I was asked to move up to be part of the pricing team. I was solely responsible in overseeing all pricing discrepancies. I
this position after the store opened and for a year after. I also was to train cashiers in price changes.
