My responsibilities include ordering and receiving product, counting cash and preparing bank deposits, training new hires and assisting with scheduling. I also manage our in-house tasting program and am the primary manager of our social media presence.

Double Ox was formed as a manufacturing outfit specializing in the design, construction and on-site installation of bespoke hardwood furniture, from single pieces to full apartment sets. All work was done by hand out of a small shop in Somerville MA. Full-time operation was suspended indefinitely after the first year due to logistical constraints.

I was part of an inside-sales team tasked with growing the client base of a company providing group-purchasing, consultancy and other service to operators in the restaurant industry. I worked closely with the account development team to provide our clients with advantageous pricing from their distributors and service providers, as well as tools and solutions to increase efficiency and profitability.
