Oversee day to day operations for statewide HIV program (Positive Connections) working alongside multiple departments within ARcare as well as state and like minded organizations. Assist in establishing and monitoring work plans, grant objectives and performance reports to make certain program goals are met. Responsible for ensuring proper chart documentation is maintained and periodic reports are run and reviewed in a timely manor. Assist in researching and reconciling grievances within the department.

Responsible for providing supervision and support within the organization to approximately 10 staff. Provide HIV case management to a caseload of 150 clients, screening for needed services, applying acuity score and individualized care plan along with HIV education to ensure patient compliance.

Determine appropriate level of care by reviewing clinical practices within a set criteria, chart review to monitor for continued stay and medical necessity, and identifying discharge planning needs. Submitting Medicare and Medicaid denial letters.

Work 7p to 7a as charge nurse of Oncology/Med Surg unit. Administer chemotherapy and blood products. Direct patient care along with monitoring staff assignments. Rounding with physicians.

General patient care-vitals signs, bathing and patient assessments.
