Accomplishments

Created Root Resources, a program that trained women to become Family Daycare Providers and business owners. The program received national recognition and funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services to expand system wide and continue for an additional two years.

Created and facilitated numerous programs for daycare centers and schools in East New York, Brooklyn. Received library system and local political recognition for work on The Schomburg Project, an in school time research project based on the book Schomburg: The Man Who Built A Library.

The project is featured in the 2016/17 issue of Off The Shelf, a publication of Brooklyn Public Library.
