Further training as a hospital pharmacy technician, I learned how to combine the different workflows that are typically designated in different shifts. As a result, I was able to hone my skills in decision making, particularly during times when there is a staffing crisis.

As a pharmacy technician at Northwestern, I practiced the skills I acquired as a former retail pharmacy technician. I trained further to be able to do more complex tasks, such as compounding IV medications. As an overnight tech, I got the chance to be trained in all departments. Because of that, I became well knowledgeable in making all types of medications, be it chemo, baby dilutions, or the ones needed during surgery. I also trained to do them as fast as possible while maintaining their sterility and accuracy. I am also an expert user of Omnicell, Epic, and Carousel.

I worked part-time here while working at Northwestern full-time.

Under the supervision of a pharmacist, I maintained pharmacy operations and made sure it is at its most efficient and profitable state while keeping patients' wellbeing as a priority. I became well-knowledgeable in screening prescriptions for validity and accurately filling them. I also retained my customer service skills by maintaining an enthusiastic environment and making sure that the patients were satisfied with the service they received.

As a front end associate, I assisted customers with technical problems that arise from self-checkout machines, bill payments, returns, and money transfers. I also made sure that their questions were answered clearly and that they are shopping in an enthusiastic environment.

As a service associate, I provided customer needs from answering their inquiries to assisting with other service requests. I also maintained the store's cleanliness and organization to entice shoppers. Aside from hospitality, I also boosted another important aspect of the business, which is the number of Kohl's Charge applications.

As an event specialist, I boosted sales and raised product/brand awareness through giving samples, organizing materials necessary for marketing, interacting with potential customers, and maintaining an enthusiastic environment.
