Writing

I began writing at an early age, I believe around the age of 12, or so. I remember quite vividly falling in love with the works of Tolkien, and absolutely diving head first so to speak in the Fantasy genre. My educators noticed as well, and with their guidance I was able to properly put thought to pen. There I was able to escape reality and allow my creativity to flourish, I was able to create beautiful worlds and characters all based on my imagination alone. It also helps to know I am a historian, and looking back on history, and using historical figures as inspiration. Writing, more or less, had become my true escape.
