My youngest days were spent farming in Northern Minnesota while in grade school! The value of early rising and physical labor was imprinted in my brain, with a sound basis in the three R’s. I speak and write well, indeed.
My middle education experience came at Catholic school in Helena Montana. Here I learned to admit when I made mistakes in judgement and behavior, and to accept responsibility for my action out in the middle world, which has served me and those I interface with well
Having a low draft number during the Viet Nam War I chose to enter the Marines as an aviation electronics technician. It didn’t save me from war but it was safer than hiding in a pool of water!
The food was better too!
I worked a series of manual labor jobs while going to school under the GI bill and did so with good income to pay my way until graduating and finding employment wit IBM in information protection! That has been a good career for the last 40 years. A lot of technology changes and plenty of learning opportunities for an inquisitive mind.
I offer excellent customer service skills in a regulatory environment about Information Protection. My customers come aboard reluctantly, but with steady assurance that I’m an old hand at helpin them become better Marines in protecting their assets!
