Trained as an AFM Amnesty Floor Monitor, this role at Amazon requires F.A.S.T. Floor Access Safety Training certification in order to have full access to the AR floor. Another safety requirement is to wear an SRBRS vest, which typically sends radio signals to the drives and has them slow down in order for AFMs (Amnesty Floor Monitors) to proceed and complete their designated tasks. Some of these tasks include the following: managing robotic drive operations, resolving issues like restarting drives or clearing jams, and verifying items that are missing or falling. As AFMs, we are responsible for ensuring the AR floor is safe, clean, and operational.
