  • I have been at the front desk since I began working here. I am responsible for accepting the client’s information for their tax returns for the year and organizing it in folders to be processed. Each client’s information is scanned in to computer under file for them. I have entered new clients into the Drake Tax Software for processing. I also enter client’s bank statement into Quick Book Software. I have been responsible for most payroll clients that the office has. I am responsible for the Quarterly reports and making the payments to the EFTPS, OESC, and OKTap for withholding taxes. I also prepare the Sales Tax reports for several of our clients. I have done the e-filing of most tax returns for the last 2 years. I owner is planning on retiring soon is the reason for looking for different employment.

  • My husband and I have been in business for ourselves since 1978. The first 15 years were running a full service fuel and mechanic shop. Since then till now we have run a muffler and welding shop. During all this time I have been responsible for the bookkeeping of our business.

  • The company goes out to oil drilling location and provides their internet, cell phone and camera systems. I am responsible for all aspects of the accounting for the business. I handle the Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. I achieve this on QuickBooks. I am responsible for paying the sales tax in Oklahoma (in several different counties) and in Wyoming. I prepare the invoices for the jobs and send them to the field tech to be signed by the appropriate person for payment. I then bill the company for the invoices. I have done billing through Ariba, Oildex, Cortex, and Open Invoice for Apache, Devon, Red Wolf, Alta Mesa, and Continental Recourses.

  • I was responsible for all aspects of the accounting for the business. I kept the books using QuickBooks here also. Here I was also responsible for the Payroll, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable. There was also record keeping for the wrecker service.

  • During this time I had a barn consisting of 1456 pairs of parakeets. I was responsible for feeding and watering them every day. Cleaned all the nest boxes weekly. The floor needed swept daily. The birds took close monitoring for the best production. Medication was needed frequently to keep the birds healthy. I was responsible for finding buyers for the birds.

  • During this time I was cashier and bookkeeper for a larger chain of supermarket stores. I worked for them in 3 different stores. I was responsible for balancing all the cash drawers in the store and preparing the daily and weekly reports. In one of the stores there was a cash drawer we kept for cashing payroll checks. I was responsible for obtaining the change for the drawer and making sure it balanced out each day.
