For the past twenty-six years I have been a law enforcement officer. I have served as a Deputy Sheriff in the capacity of a bailiff for twelve years. I oversaw court operations, facilitated the movement of inmates, provided jail security, courtroom security and inmate transportation . For the past fourteen years I have worked as a sworn Peace Officer for the Department of Motor Vehicles where I have performed the duties of a DMV Investigator. During this time I conducted complex investigations into car dealer/dealership misconduct, identity theft, vehicle and penal code violations and general consumer complaints. The results of these investigations have, in many instances, resulted in criminal prosecution and restitution for victims. I have also led numerous tactical operations, written and participated in Search Warrants, served as a Field Training Officer, Evidence Technician and Acting Supervisor.
