In this job as a cashier I made sure to greet the customers and firstly asking would they like to use their kroger card or their id number to save cash and earn gas points. Then if needed I will bag the items after I ring them up. Also making sure I pack all similar items as organized and close as possible. making sure to hand them their receipt at the end. I help out teammates bag items if they have too many and keep my area clean.
