Assists Accountant 2 in reviewing invoices received from the City of Miami, Miami Lakes, and Doral, and performs data entry into EAMS of payment information for all Division permits, inspections, and violations. Additionally, in the Budget period,  assists the accountant in preparing and printing the Budget proposal.
I assists in the process of applying for new permits for Miami Lakes and sometimes the City of Miami.
Continually updated the information in the EAM System of all Permits, Extensions, and Violations for our Division. Additionally, she downloads all new permits for the City of Miami and Unincorporated Miami Dade and keeps our system current. Processes City of Miami Extensions in the City of Miami IPW system, to avoid charges for violations, through Paving System, obtains a report of all asphalt delivery authorization (DA) numbers created monthly for our division and updates this information on our work orders and permits. Periodically checks the status of the DAs to keep our System updated and depending on the status will proceed to request the extension or closure of the permit. I assists in any task required by the Division.

The initial permitting application process involves a rigorous review and quality control of work orders (WO), including project Information: project address, equipment number, line description, number of manholes, and municipality code. • Confirmed the scope of work (repair or replacement), reviewing the supervisor's comments, photos, sketches, and comparisons in real-time using Google Earth, Maps, and MDC Aerial Viewer.
