Out of necessity I have gained experience from different retail jobs from the past. But only recently have I found my passion for it, my groove if I may. I have always wanted to serve, that was first going to be military for me. In later years, it was taking care of those with illness and loss of motor skills. Wherever it has been though, the goal was always the same. Selfless service and problem solving to get the smile. Because seeing the person who has a problem, and being able to thoughtfully not just solve their issue, but also educate and grow a little with that person, that's become crucial to me. And I am excited to work at a place where I can be my authentic self, continue growing, and continue problem solving for the little guy.
My short tenure with the team at the Apple Store in Carnegie Library was the single most impactful experience work wise in my life. Seeing the selfless and very genuine unconditional love and support for not just team members, but also every customer that walked through the door was something not quite seen else where. I was fortunate to also be able to help out the Ops Team and see another side of retail outside of just sales floor interaction. I want to continue this journey that I had the chance to start at Carnegie. I want nothing more than to continue growing within Apple. Being purposeful in every interaction, problem solving and not just selling products. Sharing the excitement with customers once those solutions are presented, it's priceless to me. And I would love the opportunity to continue that with Apple and bring this culture to others.
