  • Assisted program managers with identifying, taking biometrics and banding different types of dove and waterfowl species in southern NM
  • Worked on the Mexican Wolf Project assisting US Fish and Wildlife Services with ground surveys, wolf captures which were used to get biometric data and administer vaccinations along with collaring efforts, camera work, maintaining food caches, wolf hazing, tracking wolves using radio telemetry
  • Retrieved approximately 150 game cameras and data used to better estimate cougar populations in southern NM
  • Conducted necropsies from cougar and wolf depredations based off of collar data in the Gila National Forest/ Wilderness
  • Assisted with capturing, taking biometric data and collaring 46 desert bighorn sheep in southern NM to be relocated in south west NM
  • Worked Sandhill crane hunter check stations where biometric data was taken to understand how migration corridors are utilized during a specific time of year.
