  • Connected with social workers, employers, principals, case managers, and nonprofit organizations to coordinate services, co-enroll, and ensure my participant's diverse needs were being met and they were receiving adequate assistance.
  • Developed and implemented comprehensive case management plans to overcome barriers and address participant's needs and goals.
  • Assisted clients in navigating job search, work readiness skills, housing, budgeting, and community benefits to gain access to valuable resources.
  • Facilitated group presentations with community organizations to promote our program.

  • 400 hour internship of 30 hours per week for roughly 14 weeks. I worked with I&A, APS, the Homemaker Program and the Home Delivered Meal Program.
  • Specifically with I&A I assisted with screenings and long term care plans and with APS working on referrals and police reports that were made concerning alleged abuse or mistreatment. Through the Home Delivered Meal Program, I performed home visits and screenings to ensure individuals were receiving adequate assistance and benefits they qualified for.
  • Shadowed staff and their advanced work and was able to perform these tasks independently.
