As a Worktrain TSS, I am currently responsible for verifying that the worktrains enter and exit General Orders in a timely matter. Coordinating with various departments to appropriately stage worktrains inside the confines of the General Order. Ensuring all employees are wearing their PPE while performing their duties.

As a School Car Instructor, I led and executed training presentations for newly inducted Train Operators and Conductors. I completed frequent assessments of training materials, structure and success rates in order to enhance program. I administered initial student assessments, evaluating comprehension of all aspects of responsibilities and regulations pertaining to their job title.

As a Train Operator, I inspected the train before every trip to assess performance and maintenance requirements. I performed activities on time while maintaining regular attendance and punctuality to support scheduling and work coverage. Consistently performed clear and concise announcements in order to keep public informed of any service delays. Qualified in subdivision C as a Worktrain Operator.

As a Conductor, I received and followed directions from train dispatchers. Ensured passenger safety while boarding and exiting train cars. Announced route destinations and changes via PA systems. I also qualified in subdivision C as a Construction Flagger. As a Flagger I ensured the safety of the private contractors working on the road bed and station platforms.

As a Car Cleaner, I maintained cleanliness and presentation of train cars by sweeping and mopping internal areas. I used chemical solvents to remove heavy graffiti from exterior and interior of train cars.
